1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, scheduling a
service, or engaging us to perform home services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or request services through it.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or services after an
updated version is published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Website Information
Information provided on this website, including service descriptions, maintenance guidance,
calculators, recommendations, photographs, examples, and other informational material, is provided
for general informational purposes only.
Website content should not be treated as a final quotation, engineering assessment, structural
advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a guarantee that a particular repair or improvement will
be suitable for a specific property.
3. Service Requests and Agreements
Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quotation does not automatically create a service agreement.
A service is considered confirmed only after the scope of work, applicable materials, pricing,
scheduling, and other relevant terms have been agreed upon.
The final scope of work may be adjusted following an inspection or assessment of the property.
Where additional work is identified, the additional requirements and associated costs will be
communicated for approval before the additional work is undertaken, where reasonably practicable.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the property and
the requested work. This includes informing us about known leaks, electrical issues, plumbing
routes, structural concerns, previous repairs, hazardous conditions, restricted areas, or other
circumstances that may affect the service.
Customers must provide reasonable access to the property at agreed times and ensure that pets,
valuables, personal belongings, and other items are appropriately secured before work begins.
Where applicable, the customer is responsible for obtaining permission from landlords, property
managers, building associations, or other authorised parties.
5. Inspections and Site Conditions
Some services may require an inspection before a final price or scope can be confirmed. Estimates
provided before an inspection may change if concealed damage, unsafe conditions, inaccessible areas,
outdated installations, or other unforeseen circumstances are discovered.
We are not responsible for defects, damage, or conditions that were concealed, inaccessible, not
disclosed, or not reasonably discoverable during the initial assessment.
6. Pricing and Quotations
Quotations and estimates are based on the information available at the time they are prepared and
are valid only for the period stated in the applicable quotation.
The final price may be affected by changes requested by the customer, additional work, changes in
material availability, concealed conditions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Any additional charge will be communicated for approval before the additional work is carried out,
where reasonably practicable.
7. Payments
Payment terms, deposits, instalments, and final balances will be specified in the applicable
quotation, invoice, or service agreement. Customers agree to make payments by the agreed deadlines.
Where a deposit is required, it may be used to reserve a service appointment, purchase materials,
or prepare for the agreed work. Failure to make required payments may result in the suspension,
rescheduling, or cancellation of services.
8. Changes and Additional Work
Customers may request changes to the agreed scope of work. Such changes may affect the total price,
materials, labour requirements, and completion schedule.
Additional work will generally require customer approval before it is performed. Work that becomes
reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety concern or prevent further property damage may
be handled in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
9. Scheduling and Delays
Service dates and completion times are provided in good faith and may change due to circumstances
including severe weather, material shortages, supplier delays, inspections, permit requirements,
restricted site access, unexpected property conditions, or other events beyond reasonable control.
Where a significant delay occurs, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate the situation and
arrange an alternative schedule.
10. Materials and Customer-Supplied Products
Materials selected for a project may be subject to availability, manufacturer specifications, and
reasonable substitutions where agreed or required. Customer-supplied products or materials may be
used only where they are reasonably suitable for the intended work.
We may not be responsible for defects, incompatibility, failure, or damage caused by products or
materials supplied by the customer, particularly where their condition or suitability could not
reasonably be verified beforehand.
11. Workmanship and Warranties
Where applicable, workmanship may be covered by a written guarantee or warranty provided as part of
the service agreement. Products and materials may also be covered by separate manufacturer warranties.
Warranties generally do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications,
work performed by third parties, accidental damage, extreme weather, flooding, or defects resulting
from existing property conditions or customer-supplied products.
12. Property Protection
Reasonable care will be taken to protect accessible areas of the property while performing agreed
work. Customers should remove or secure fragile, valuable, or personal belongings from areas where
work will take place.
We are not responsible for damage to items that were not reasonably accessible, were improperly
stored, were concealed, or were affected by pre-existing conditions, except where responsibility
cannot legally be excluded.
13. Health and Safety
We may stop, postpone, or refuse work if the property or working environment presents a significant
health or safety risk, including exposed electrical hazards, structural instability, hazardous
materials, unsafe access, aggressive animals, or other dangerous conditions.
Work may resume once the relevant safety concern has been appropriately addressed and it is
reasonably safe to continue.
14. Permits and Approvals
Certain home improvement, renovation, electrical, plumbing, structural, or other projects may
require permits, inspections, approvals, or compliance with local requirements. Responsibility for
obtaining such approvals will depend on the nature of the work and the applicable service agreement.
15. Cancellation and Termination
Either party may request cancellation or termination of a service agreement in accordance with the
terms of that agreement and applicable law.
If a customer cancels after materials have been purchased, work has commenced, or services have
otherwise been prepared, the customer may remain responsible for applicable completed work,
committed materials, cancellation charges, or other amounts permitted under the agreement and
applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability arising from the provision of services
will be limited to the direct loss or damage reasonably attributable to the services provided.
We will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic losses,
including loss of income, loss of rental revenue, loss of business opportunity, or other indirect
losses, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
17. Unforeseen Property Conditions
Home service work may reveal concealed or previously unknown conditions, including hidden water
damage, defective wiring, deteriorated materials, structural problems, mould, pest damage, or
incompatible previous installations.
Such conditions may require additional assessment, materials, work, or specialist services. Any
resulting changes to the scope, cost, or schedule will be discussed with the customer where
reasonably practicable.
18. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, layouts, designs, icons,
illustrations, and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless
otherwise stated.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished, or commercially
exploited without appropriate permission.
19. Prohibited Website Use
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised
access to systems or data, introduce malicious software, submit fraudulent information, or use the
website for unlawful purposes.
20. Third-Party Services
The website or services may rely on third-party providers for payment processing, mapping,
communications, scheduling, analytics, hosting, or other functions. Third-party services may be
subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
21. Force Majeure
We will not be considered in breach of these terms where performance is delayed or prevented by
circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters,
government restrictions, supply disruptions, utility failures, labour disruptions, emergencies,
or other unforeseen events.
22. Governing Law
These terms will be interpreted and governed in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations
of the jurisdiction in which the relevant services are provided, unless a separate written agreement
states otherwise.
23. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises regarding the website or services, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts
to resolve the matter through direct communication before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
Where appropriate, mediation or another mutually agreed dispute-resolution process may be considered.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable,
that provision will be limited or removed to the extent necessary, while the remaining provisions
will continue to remain in effect.
25. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with any applicable quotation, service agreement, invoice, or
other written terms provided for a particular project, form the basis of the agreement between the
parties regarding the relevant services.
